
Colorado Eagles Add Defenseman Daniel Johnston

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Tuesday that they have signed defenseman Daniel Johnston to the 2013-14 roster.
Johnston, a Calgary, Alberta native, has spent the past six seasons in the WHL with time spilt between the Portland Winter Hawks and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The 6 foot-2, 211 pound defenseman totaled 253 regular season games in the WHL recording 17 goals and 88 assists for a total of 105 points. The blue liner was also able to rack up 251 total penalty minutes. In the 2012-13 campaign with the Hurricanes, Johnston played in 45 games and scored 8 goals with 26 assists for a total of 34 points and 50 penalty minutes.
