
Reign and Moose Close Season Series Tonight on Fire and Ice at Citizens Business Bank Arena

Ontario Reign News Release
Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the Manitoba Moose tonight at 6:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the fourth and final regular-season meeting between the two teams this season.
Fire and Ice Today:
The Ontario Fire Department faceoff against the New York City Fire Department at 1:00 p.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena in a charity hockey game to support St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the annual Ontario Fire Department Chili-Cookoff starts at 3:00 p.m. out in the parking lot.
The Series Closes:
The Reign hold a 3-0-0-0 head-to-head record against the Moose this season after picking up 4-1 and 1-0 victories in Winnipeg on October 15 and 17 and a 4-1 win in Ontario on January 20. Forward Michael Mersch leads the Reign and the series with five points (three goals, two assists).

The Reign enter tonight's contest on a six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1-0).
Golden State Not So "Golden" for Moose:
The Moss close a season-long eight-game road trip tonight and are sitting on a seven-game winless streak (0-4-2-1). The journey started with a pair of contests in Charlotte, N.C. against the Checkers on Jan. 16-17 (3-2 OTL and 4-1 L), moved to Ontario on Jan. 20 (4-1 L), a pair contests in Stockton, CA Jan. 22-23 (2-1 SOL and 3-2 OTL) and a two-game stint in Bakersfield, CA Jan. 26 and Jan 29 (6-3 L and 6-2 L).
All-Stars Ready to Shine:
Immediately after tonight's contest, Reign defenseman Vincent LoVerde, forward Sean Backman, goaltender Peter Budaj and Head Coach Mike Stothers take off to Syracuse, New York to participate in the 2016 All All-Star Classic. Homecoming for Moose's Olkinuora, Comrie and De Leo:
Moose goaltender Jussi Olkinuora skated with the ECHL's Ontario Reign the last two seasons. Last season, the Helsinki, Finland, native appeared in 43 games, earning a record of 27-9-6-1 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .916 save percentage. Goaltender Eric Comrie (Newport Beach) and forward Chase De Leo (La Mirada) are California natives and started their hockey careers together skating for the L.A. Selects (Now the Los Angeles Jr. Kings).
