ON THE SCORESHEET

- Josh Leivo recorded his third four point night of the season, scoring twice while adding two assists. The last player to record four points in a game was Brendan Leipsic on January 16, 2016 against St. John's.

- Connor Brown continued his point streak since returning to the Marlies line up, adding a goal and an assist. During the four game stretch he has recorded four goals and two assists.

- TJ Brennan added two assists to extend his season high point streak to eight games. The two assists also increase his league leading point total to 47.

- Mark Arcobello extends his point streak to seven games, scoring once and adding an assist. Six of those seven games have been multi-point efforts. His 42 points through 33 games this season places him fourth in league scoring.

- Zach Hyman recorded his 10th goal of the season and moved himself to 12th in rookie scoring with 26 points this season.

- Garret Sparks made 23 saves in the losing effort, his record now stands at 10-3-2-0 this season.

NOTABLES

- The Marlies improve on their season high home point streak dating back to December 31, 2015 against Lake Erie. The team has collected 13 points during the seven game span.

- This is the Marlies first loss when scoring five or more goals; they are now 15-0-1-0.

- The Marlies and Senators season series now sits at 3-1-1-0. The teams have one remaining game on February 24, 2016, where the Marlies will host their first of three 11:00 a.m. school day games.

- Toronto's record on Saturday's now sits at 13-2-1-0 this season.
