Syracuse Crunch Ink Forward Andrew Yogan to PTO

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have inked forward Andrew Yogan to a professional try-out contract, Crunch general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Yogan, 24, has skated in 16 games with the Iowa Wild this season, posting one goal and three assists. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound center has also appeared in 25 contests with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, where he recorded 31 points (10g, 21a) to go along with 26 penalty minutes and a plus-12 rating.

The Coral Springs, Florida native has a total of 45 points (23g, 22a) and 152 penalty minutes in a career 148 AHL games with Iowa, San Antonio Rampage, Hartford Wolf Pack and Connecticut Whale. In 60 ECHL contests with Cincinnati and the Greenville Road Warriors, he has tallied 65 points (28g, 37a) and a plus-24 rating.

Prior to his professional career, Yogan put up 186 points (96g, 90a), 287 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating in 240 OHL games with the Erie Otters and Windsor Spitfires.

Yogan was selected in the fourth round, 100th overall, by the New York Rangers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
