Regular Season Wrapping Up, Tickets Hard To Come By

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 3)- With only five home games remaining in the regular season and a league leading 23-3-1 home record at the NYTEX Sports Centre, Brahmas tickets are becoming a tough ticket to obtain in town. Amid the recent sell-outs at NYTEX, be sure you do not miss your chance for Brahmas action by purchasing your tickets early.
The Brahmas will be hosting $1 Coke Night as Texas takes on the Corpus Christi IceRays for the fifth and final time this season at 7:05 PM on Friday, March 6 at the NYTEX Sports Centre. The Brahmas are 4-0 this year when playing Corpus, and 7-0 against the 'Rays since moving to North Richland Hills. Following the game a nice evening of "Casino Night" will be taking place at the Tejas courts. Those who wish to test their luck can purchase a ticket for $40 or $25 if they only want to be registered for the Poker Tournament. Register online at www.tejasvolleyball.com.
This Saturday, March 7 the Brahmas will face the Odessa Jackalopes in a battle of the best in the Southern Conference. Texas currently has a 7 point lead over Odessa in the conference standings and will look to increase their lead for the top spot. Faceoff is set for 7:05 PM and tickets are limited.
"Tickets have been at a premium", said Brahmas General Manager Mike Barack. "We urge our fans and new customers to purchase their tickets as soon as possible based on ticket availability for our remaining contests."
Next week the Brahmas will conclude their I-20 rivalry in the regular season against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:05 PM. On Saturday, March 14 Texas takes on Southeast division foes Laredo at 7:05 PM, who trail Texas for the division title. The Brahmas will play their last regular season game in 2008-09 at the NYTEX Sports Centre Sunday, March 15 when the Wichita Thunder come to North Richland Hills for an early 6:05 PM game on "Fan Appreciation Night". Brahmas fans in attendance will have opportunities all night to win gifts as a special thank you for their support. Immediately following the game, the Brahmas will be conducting a post game jersey auction in the rink.
