
Bucks Help Raise Nearly $1,000 For JDRF

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks held a successful dinner for JDRF last night at the Homewood Suites next to Mall del Norte. Almost 200 people attended the event, and helped raise nearly $1,000 for Juvenile Diabetes.
The Bucks players, along with the Front Office Staff and Bucky, were joined at dinner by members of JDRF, the Homewood Suites staff, local media members, public figures, and plenty of Bucks fans.
Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski spoke at the event, saying "JDRF will always have the Bucks in their corner. We've supported this great cause since day one here, and we will continue to do so".
The Bucks, along with Homewood Suites, raffled off several prizes at the dinner. Some of the prizes included a free suite night at the March 18th Bucks game, and a free night's stay at the Homewood Suites.

The Bucks have announced that fans can win either a Las Vegas Weekend Getaway or a Carnival Cruise, if they purchase a Bucks playoff package.
The Las Vegas Weekend Getaway includes airfare and hotel reservations, courtesy of the Bucks, on dates agreed upon by the winners of the getaway and the Bucks.
The Carnival Cruise winner receives a FREE 4 night cruise leaving from the Port of Galveston, Texas, courtesy of the Bucks, on dates agreed upon by the winners of the cruise and the Bucks.
Winners of either the Las Vegas Weekend or Carnival Cruise may not take a cash equivalent and it is not transferable.
To be eligible to win one of the two great prizes, fans must buy their Bucks playoff package before the first home playoff game. Drawing will be held during the 1st intermission of the 1st playoff game.
