RedHawks Make Flurry of Moves

Oklahoma City Comets News Release


Memphis, Tenn. - The Oklahoma City RedHawks have made the following transactions on the off day, June 29:

* OF Brian Bogusevic has been recalled to the Houston Astros

* P David Carpenter has been recalled to the Houston Astros

* P Sergio Perez has been placed on the disabled list (left Achilles), retroactive to June 27

* P Casey Fien has completed his rehabilitation assignment in the Gulf Coast League and will report to OKC on June 30

* The Houston Astros claimed OF Luis Durango off waivers from the San Diego Padres and optioned him to OKC, reporting June 30

* C Brian Esposito has been optioned to OKC from the Houston Astros and will report June 30.

Jersey numbers for Fien, Durango and Esposito will be assigned upon arrival at AutoZone Park tomorrow afternoon. The RedHawks have 24 active players, the league maximum, with four players on the disabled list.
