Tonight's Game-- After a rare loss to Nashville, the RedHawks face the Sounds again at 7:05 p.m. tonight. The RedHawks need a win in order to avoid clinching a losing road trip.

Last Night-- With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Nashville third baseman Andy Gonzalez hit a walk-off home run to give the Sounds a 3-2 win. Leading off the inning, Gonzalez lined a 3-2 pitch from Adalberto Flores (4-1) down the left field line that stayed about five feet fair to clinch the win. Starting pitchers Brian Bass and Seth McClung cruised through the first half of the game. Jay Gibbons led off the bottom of the fifth with a solo home run to open the scoring. With two outs, Bass walked Eric Farris before McClung helped his cause with an RBI double to make it 2-0. Leading off the sixth, McClung hit Angel Sanchez in the helmet with a pitch and then walked Landon Powell. Two batters later, J.B. Shuck delivered a two-run triple to tie the game. The Sounds' bullpen tossed three scoreless innings, and Vinnie Chulk (3-0) earned the win after tossing a perfect ninth.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Armando Galarraga makes his third start with the RedHawks...He is coming off his first win Saturday in Round Rock, allowing two runs over five innings...After he allowed a two-run homer to Julio Borbon in the second inning, Galarraga retired the final 10 hitters he faced...Over his first two starts with the RedHawks, Galarraga has allowed just five hits over his first 9.2 IP and opponents are hitting .147...After spending Spring Training with Baltimore, Galarraga signed with the Astros on May 21...Over five Major League seasons spent with the Rangers, Tigers, and Diamondbacks, Galarraga is 26-30 with a 4.69 ERA in 95 appearances (86 starts)...He previously pitched for the RedHawks when the team was affiliated with Texas and threw a seven-inning shutout at Greer Stadium on August 25, 2007...Marco Estrada makes his second rehab start with the Sounds...The Brewers swingman is 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 11 appearances (six starts) with this season...He went on the disabled list on May 24 with a right quadriceps strain...Estrada is a former sixth round pick of the Washington Nationals in 2005 and was claimed off waivers by Milwaukee in February, 2010...He is 4-12 with a 4.95 ERA over 76 career Major League appearances.

We're Halfway There-- Through 72 games this season, the RedHawks are 42-30--a dramatic improvement over last season's 30-42 record at the halfway point. They rank fifth in wins, sixth in batting average, second in home runs, fifth in runs, and 10th in ERA.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' four wins on their current road trip, they have scored 38 runs (9.5 rpg). In their five losses, they've scored just seven runs (1.4 rpg).

Back and Forth-- Over the last 11 games, the RedHawks have alternated wins and losses each day. They have not won consecutive games since their nine-game win streak was snapped on June 8, but they have not lost back-to-back games either since June 9.

Walk-Off Woes-- Last night marked the third time this season the RedHawks were on the wrong end of walk-off home run. The other two instances occurred on back-to-back nights in Omaha, May 5-6.

Super Snyder-- After yesterday's 1-for-3 performance, Brad Snyder extended his current hitting streak to 17 games--the best by a RedHawk this season. During the streak he is hitting .397 (25x63) with two home runs and 10 RBIs. He is the only player in Triple-A with at least 10 homers and 10 stolen bases.

Waiting Until the Last Minute-- Snyder collected a double in his final at-bat last night. He has extended his hitting streak in his last at-bat six times in his last eight games.

Angel in the Infield-- Shortstop Angel Sanchez is hitting a team-best .400 with 12 RBIs in June. He has five three-hit games this month and has raised his season average from .256 to .299 since the calendar turned past May.

Hessman The Hammer-- Since May 15, Mike Hessman's 15 home runs are more than anyone else in the Minors. He also has the second-most RBIs in the PCL during that time with 36.

Potent Paredes-- Jimmy Paredes has nine multi-hit outings over his last 14 games. During that stretch he has hit .410 (25-for-61), and his 25 hits are the second-most in all of the Minors since June 5.

Nashville Sounding Off-- The Sounds have hit three home runs over the last two nights. They had hit a total of three homers in their first 12 games against the RedHawks this season.

Against the Sounds-- Although the RedHawks had their 10-game winning streak over the Sounds snapped last night, they have won an astounding 12 of 14 games against Nashville...Both losses were by one run and decided in the Sounds' final at-bat...The RedHawks have actually been outhit by the Sounds 111-105, but have outscored Nashville 64-36...OKC's pitching staff has posted a tremendous 2.52 ERA and has an 85/25 strikeout-to-walk ratio...They have held the Sounds to two runs or less eight times...Nashville is the first American Conference team the RedHawks conclude their season series with.
