Alfredo Marte cut the lead to 9-4 with a homer in the bottom of the frame. Jason Stoffel and Kevin Chapman held the Aces scoreless over the final two innings. Bobby Doran (2-4) limited the Aces to two runs over five innings to earn the win.

They have lost or split each of their last six road series out west (0-4-2).
Hit Parade: The RedHawks racked up 15 hits last night and have totaled 29 hits the past two games. Petit's Recent Push: Gregorio Petit went 3-for-4 Thursday to match the longest hitting streak by a RedHawk this season at 12 games, previously done by Max Stassi and Kiké Hernandez.
