The Iowa Cubs fell behind early but came back to beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 6-2 Thursday at Principal Park. Chicago Cubs prospect Kris Bryant went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in his Triple-A debut. Bryant now has 23 home runs in 69 games between Double-A and Triple-A this season.

El Paso starter Jason Lane put the Chihuahuas on the board with an RBI single in the top of the third. Lane went 2-for-3 at the plate in the loss. Iowa came back by scoring at least one run in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings. The Chihuahuas added a second run when Adam Moore hit a homer over the center field fence in the top of the seventh, his sixth home run of the season and second on the road.

Thursday's game was preceded by a one hour and 14 minute rain delay. Tyler Greene went 2-for-3 with a walk in the loss for El Paso. Chihuahuas reliever Jerry Sullivan pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the eighth. The Chihuahuas have lost eight of their last 11 games.
