Today's Game: The RedHawks continue their final homestand of the regular season with a game against Nashville at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark looking to win a division title for the first time since 2010. The RedHawks can clinch the division with a win or an Albuquerque loss tonight.

Last Game: Oklahoma City's 17-game winning streak at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark came to an end Monday with a 6-3 loss to Nashville. The Sounds scored four runs in the third inning and held the lead the remainder of the game. Nashville's Josh Prince hit a solo home run to lead off the top of the third before three more runs followed. Jon Singleton knocked a RBI single to cut the Sounds' lead to three runs with one out in the fourth. The game remained 4-1 until the ninth when Nashville pushed across two more runs, but the RedHawks rallied in the bottom of the inning. With two outs, Singleton hit a two-run single and brought tying run to the plate. However, Travis Webb got Marc Kraus to fly out on the first pitch he threw to end the game and earn his first save. RedHawks starting pitcher Ross Seaton (3-7) was charged with the loss and Nashville starter Jimmy Nelson (4-6) got the win.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Eric Berger will make his third spot start of the season after scheduled starter Paul Clemens was tabbed to start for the Astros tonight...The lefty has been pitching extremely well of late. He has not been scored upon in seven of his last eight outings, and during the eight-game stretch, Berger has allowed one run (solo HR) and four hits with 15 strikeouts over 12.1 IP...He'll enter tonight after five consecutive scoreless appearances and his current 3.36 ERA is the lowest it's been since mid-April...Since the All-Star Break, Berger has posted a 2.45 ERA and is holding opponents to a .197 average...Berger leads current OKC pitchers with 42 appearances and ranks second among relievers with five wins...He has made two previous spot starts, both during doubleheaders. As a starter, he is 0-1 and has allowed five runs (two earned) and eight hits in 6.2 IP...In four relief appearances against Nashville this season, Berger is 0-1 and has allowed four runs (three earned) and 10 hits over 6.1 IP.

Against the Sounds: 2013: 9-4 2012: 13-3 All-time: 136-117 In OKC: 72-53

Nashville's win Monday was the Sounds' first in Oklahoma City since April 11, 2012, ending a streak of nine straight losses in Bricktown...The RedHawks swept their first home series of the season against the Sounds, April 29-May 2, winning all four games...The teams last played in Nashville June 27-30, with Oklahoma City winning the series, 3-2...Nashville is batting just .237 and the RedHawks have held the Sounds to two runs or less in six of 13 meetings with a 3.05 team ERA...Oklahoma City has scored five or more runs in seven of 13 games against the Sounds this season and has outscored Nashville, 61-42...Including this season, the RedHawks have won the season series in five of the past six years.

All Good Things Must Come to an End: The RedHawks' club record 17-game home winning streak at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark ended Monday as Oklahoma City lost at home for the first time since July 14, before the PCL All-Star Break. The streak was the second-longest home winning streak in the Minors since 2005, trailing only Low-A Cedar Rapids' 19-game run in 2010.

The reasons for the streak ending were pretty clear: Prior to Monday, the RedHawks never trailed by more than two runs during the streak and allowed as many as six runs just twice -- both times after the RedHawks had taken a comfortable lead. OKC batted .336 with runners in scoring position during the streak but went just 2-for-16 last night.

Chasing the Crown: George Springer nabbed his 43rd stolen base of the season Monday (20th in Triple-A) and has a two home run lead for the MiLB Joe Baumann Home Run Award. He leads the Minors with 37 homers this season (Triple-A and Double-A combined) and has joined Ruben Rivera and Darryl Strawberry as the only minor leaguers over the past 40 years with at least 30 home runs and 40 stolen bases in the same season. Springer is trying to become the first Minor League player with a 40/40 season since Len Tucker of the unaffiliated Class B Pampa Oilers in 1956 (51 HR/47 SB). He has collected 105 RBI (tied for third in the Minors) and scored 103 runs (tied for fourth in the Minors) overall this season, making him the only player currently in affiliated baseball (Majors or Minors) to have 100 of each.

Amador's Arrival: Japhet Amador is off to a nice start, going 5-for-13 with an RBI over his first three games. The Astros recently signed Amador from the Mexican League, where he hit .368 with 22 doubles, 36 home runs, 121 RBI and a .419 OBP in 104 games for the Diablos Rojos this season. Amador led the Mexican League in RBI, ranked second in homers and third in total bases (277).

Swingleton: Jon Singleton has hit safely in each of his past four games, going 6-for-14 with four RBI. He has also drawn three walks to reach base in nine of his last 17 plate appearances.

K-O'd at the Plate: Through the first 133 games of the season, the RedHawks struck out 12 times in a nine-inning game just once (5/18 @ SAC). Last night, for the second time in four games, they struck out 13 times. Over the past four games combined, they've struck out 41 times. The recent uptick has been out of the norm, as the team's 950 strikeouts are currently fourth-least in the PCL.

In the LOBby: The RedHawks set a season high for a nine-inning game by leaving 14 runners on base last night. The Sounds' 16 runners stranded set a new season high by a RedHawks opponent as well.

Not as Easy as 1-2-3: The RedHawks pitching staff has recorded just one 1-2-3 inning over the past three games. There have been eight occasions over the past 26 innings they have retired the first two batters but have been unable to retire the third batter.
