Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RedHawks starter Dallas Keuchel (6GS, 0-1, 9.00) makes the regular season finale start...Keuchel faced New Orleans on August 30, giving up five earned runs and seven hits in five and two-thirds innings without a decision...Keuchel started the season with Double-A Corpus Christi, making 20 starts with a 9-7 record and 3.17 ERA...Zephyrs starter Elih Villanueva (27GS, 7-10, 5.38) makes another start against OKC, his fourth against the RedHawks in 2011 (3GS, 0-2, 4.74)...Villanueva last started on August 30 against OKC, giving up four runs and five hits in six innings without a decision...
Last Game: Sept. 4 - NOLA Zephyrs 3, OKC RedHawks 2-- Joe Thurston hit a two-run home run in the third inning, his third home run of the series, leading the Zephyrs to a 3-2 win over the RedHawks before 5,436 Sunday afternoon in Bricktown...Chris Sampson (9-2) took the win, giving up one earned run and six hits in seven innings...Ryan Rowland-Smith (2-10) gave up three earned runs and seven hits in six and two-thirds innings...Dan Jennings (2) saved the game wiht a scoreless 1.1 innings...Drew Locke hit a first inning solo home run and a third inning sacrifice fly, pacing the RedHawks offensive attack...
Hernandez Streak Snapped at 30-- Anderson Hernandez snapped his hitting streak at 30 games with an 0x5 game Saturday...Hernandez flied to left in the first inning, popped to centerfield in the third, grounded out to short in the fifth inning, hit a comebacker to the mound in the seventh and struckout in the eighth inning... Hernandez posted a .385 (50x130) average during the streak, raising his season pace from .277 to .305...He recorded multi-hit efforts in 13 of the 30 games...The streak is the longest by an OKC player since the franchise joined the Pacific Coast League in 1998....The PCL record for consecutive games batted safely in a single season is 61 by Joe DiMaggio of San Francisco May 28-July 25, 1933...
