RedHawks Take Regular Season Finale, 4-3

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Dallas Keuchel allowed one run in seven innings for his first Triple-A win as the Oklahoma City RedHawks (68-75) took a 4-3 win over the New Orleans Zephyrs (69-74) before 4,670 Monday at RedHawks Field at Bricktown.

Keuchel (1-1) allowed one earned run and seven hits in seven innings for the winning decision, his first winning decision in Triple-A in seven starts. Keuchel is headed for the Arizona Fall League. New Orleans starter Elih Villanueva (7-11) allowed three earned runs and six hits in six innings for the loss. Jose Valdez (9) allowed two earned runs in the ninth inning, but saved the game.

The RedHawks opened the scoring in the second inning with an Oswaldo Navarro sacrifice fly for a 1-0 lead. In the third inning Robinson Cancel hit a sacrifice fly to score Luis Durango for a 2-0 score.

Oklahoma City added a third run in the fourth inning on a Dallas Keuchel groundout RBI for a 3-0 game.

New Orleans scored in the fifth inning when Miguel Fermin doubled, moved to third on a sacrifice and scored on a Jorge Padilla sacrifice fly for a 3-1 game.

The RedHawks pushed across a fourth run in the eighth inning when Cancel doubled, moved to third on a single and scored on another Navarro sacrifice fly for a 4-1 score.

New Orleans added two runs in the ninth inning, a sac fly from Chris Coghlan and an RBI single from Mike Cervenak for a 4-3 final.
