Red Wings Anticipating Large Crowd on July 4
July 3, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Rochester Red Wings News Release
ROCHESTER, NY - The 4th of July is typically one of the busiest days of the year at Frontier Field and with a great forecast with temperatures expected in the mid-70's, this year is no different. Fans who are planning on coming to Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game with postgame fireworks are encouraged to purchase online to avoid the large expected walk-up crowd and either print tickets at home or use the mobile display which ushers can scan for easy entry.
To avoid lines at the Ticket Office, online ticket sales are available anytime at RedWingsBaseball.com/tickets and the Ticket Office will be open until 5 p.m. today and reopening Saturday at 9 a.m. Fans can also order tickets by phone at 423-WING (9464) during normal Ticket Office hours.
The Red Wings will wear special patriotic jerseys courtesy of Wegmans which will be auctioned off to benefit Blue Star Mothers Chapter 8, Gold Star Mothers, Honor Flight, CDS-Warrior Salute and Veterans Outreach Center, all organizations that support veterans. Rochester will be wearing 4th of July caps as well.
Postgame fireworks will also be set to patriotic music.
