Durham Bulls News Release
Durham Bulls (43-38) @ Norfolk Tides (45-34); 7:05 p.m.
LHP Robert Zarate (1-0, 0.69) vs. RHP Mike Wright (4-0, 3.07)
The Bulls play the second game of a brief two-game series at Harbor Park against the Norfolk Tides in the third and final series of an eight-game road trip. Durham has won back-to-back games for the first time since 6/14-6/15, but is still just 3-4 to begin the road swing, and is just 4-11 over its last 15 games after going 18-5 over its previous 23 contests. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - is 8-2 over its last 10 games, and enters today with the 2nd-best record in the IL behind Indianapolis (48-32). Tonight's game is the second of five straight between the two teams, as after this two-game set the series shifts to the DBAP for three contests.
