Red Claws Acquire Rights to Archie Goodwin

PORTLAND, Maine - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announced that the team has completed a trade with the Northern Arizona Suns, acquiring the returning player rights to Archie Goodwin.

In exchange, the Red Claws send Northern Arizona the returning player rights to Daniel Dixon.

Goodwin, a Kentucky product, played 34 games for both Greensboro and Northern Arizona last season, averaging 19.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. The NBA G League veteran has played for 3 other G League teams, dating back to the 2013-14 season.

Dixon played in 46 games last season for Maine, his first in the G League. Dixon averaged 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season.

The 2018 NBA G League Draft will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. Maine's season opens on Nov. 2 at the Portland Expo. Individual tickets are on sale now.
