
Rebels Start Road Trip with a 2-1 Win in Regina

REGINA, SK - The Rebels played Monday in Regina against the Pats. The Rebels won 2-1; Trevor Martin made 27 saves in the Red Deer net.
The Rebels opened the scoring in the first period on a goal by Evan Polei at the 11:30 mark. Jake DeBrusk made it 2-0 at 16:33 of the opening period. It was 2-0 Red Deer after the opening frame.
There was no scoring in the second period.
The Pats didn't get one past Trevor Martin until 19:59 of the third period, on a power play goal by Sam Steel.
Both goaltenders were solid in net. Trevor Martin with 27 saves in the Rebels goal; Tyler Brown with 34 saves in the Pats net.
Red Deer was 0 for 4 on the power play; the Pats were 1 for 4.
The Rebels are in Swift Current on Tuesday evening, the broadcast on 106.7 The Drive begins at 5:50PM.
