Real Salt Lake Travels to Seattle to Face Sounders FC on Wednesday

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake is set to kick off the first of three consecutive matches against Cascadia opposition on Wednesday, October 7 when it faces Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. MT and will be broadcast locally on KMYU, the KSL TV app and ESPN700 radio.

RSL enters Sunday's match after falling 3-1 to LAFC on Sunday in Utah, a match that saw RSL's comeback fall short despite a Marcelo Silva-generated own goal in the second half.

Wednesday will be the 27th all-time meeting between RSL and Seattle as RSL looks to advance its 3-9-2 record in Seattle since 2009. In the last meeting between the sides, Justen Glad and Pablo Ruiz each notched goals in a 2-2 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium on September 2.

Seattle enters the midweek contest after claiming a 3-1 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Seattle last Saturday. Sounders FC sits atop the Western Conference ahead of Wednesday's match.
