After a resounding 3-1 win over Cascadia rival Vancouver, Sounders FC (8-3-3, 27 points) hosts Real Salt Lake (4-5-6, 18 points) on Wednesday, October 7 at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, Prime Video, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). This marks the second meeting of the season between the two sides, following a 2-2 draw on September 2 in Utah.

Seattle is currently atop the Western Conference with 27 points, three points clear of second-place Portland. Brian Schmetzer's side also leads MLS with a plus-19 goal differential and ranks second with 32 goals scored. Sounders FC is 4-1-0 in its past five matches, outscoring its opponents 16-4.
