Reading Splits Series with New Hampshire in Sunday Loss

Reading Fightin Phils News Release
The Reading Fightin Phils split the series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats falling 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The team's only run came in the top of the third as Logan Landon's RBI single to drive home Grenny Cumana.
Landon had a two-hit game, also reaching first on a walk.
Reading had just two other hits on the afternoon. A single from Bryson Stott and Madison Stokes were the other base knocks.
Francisco Morales got the start for Reading, his second of the series. After a rocky first inning, he settled in. The righty threw five innings of work, allowing six hits and three earned runs. He struck out four. Zach Warren took the ball first in relief, working two clean innings. Billy Sullivan followed out of the 'pen, sitting down the Fisher Cats 1-2-3.
The Reading Fightin Phils return home at FirstEnergy Stadium on Tuesday July 27 at 7:05 against the Somerset Patriots.
