TONIGHT: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox will meet in the finale of a four-game series...A night after blowing out the Baysox 14-4, the Flying Squirrels were blown out 10-0 in game three of the four-game series on Saturday night at Prince George's Stadium.

TONIGHT'S STARTERS: Right-hander Mike MacDonald gets the start in the finale of the series for the Flying Squirrels...Making the start in place of right-hander Felix Romero who is away from the team for the birth of his child...Making his first start since 6/27 at Erie and received a no-decision...Allowed four runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings in his last at Erie...Struck out three batters and walked three...Was 2-6 with a 4.64 ERA in 15 starts before moving to the bullpen 6/30...Is 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA in four appearances in relief...Was the Flying Squirrels Opening Day starter 4/8 at Bowie...Is 1-0 with a 1.06 ERA in three starts against the Baysox...Has allowed two runs on 11 hits in 17 innings of work against Bowie...Has struck out 12 batters and walked four while limiting the Baysox to a .193 batting average against him...Left-handed batters are hitting .380 against him...Club has scored 1.87 runs during his 15 starts.

SERIES AT STAKE: The Flying Squirrels are seeking a series-clinching win in tonight's finale with the Baysox...Richmond is seeking consecutive series wins for the first time since winning back-to-back series at Harrisburg and Bowie 5/7-5/12...The club is also in search of its third win in a four-game series and first since taking three of four from Erie 7/1-7/4...Richmond is 2-4-4 in four-game sets this season...The Flying Squirrels are 13-15 in series finales.

WHAT GOES AROUND: A night after setting a season-high for largest margin of victory in a 14-4 win, the Flying Squirrels matched their largest margin of defeat in a 10-0 loss...It also matched the largest shutout loss of the season for the club...Richmond was also blanked 10-0 at Binghamton 5/25...It was the most runs allowed by the club since giving up 11 runs against Binghamton 6/16...The Flying Squirrels had allowed 11 runs total in the previous four games, all wins...Only six of the 21 meetings between Richmond and Bowie have been decided by more than three runs including each of the last two.

BOWIE BLANKING: The Flying Squirrels were shutout of the eighth time this season in last night's 10-0 loss to the Baysox...The eight shutouts are tied with Harrisburg and Bowie for most in the Eastern League...The 14 runs scored by the club on Friday were the most scored by a team in the Eastern League the game before being shutout...Trenton won at New Hampshire 13-2 on 5/30 before being shutout 3-0 by the Fisher Cats on 5/31...Richmond has been shutout four times in 21 games this month...The club's 357 runs scored are the fewest in the league.

RISING TIMP-ERATURE: Outfielder Clay Timpner has hits in each of his last five games...Over that stretch, the 27-year-old is 8-for-20 (.400) with a double, RBI and two runs scored...He is batting .385 (15-for-39) in 10 games since the Eastern League All-Star break with a double, triple, four RBI, and four runs scored...His average has climbed from .283 to .298 over that stretch.

NOOOONAN: Second baseman Nick Noonan has hits in each of his last five games...The 21-year-old is 5-for-23 (.217) over his last five contests with a triple, two RBI, and three runs scored...It is the fourth hit streak of five games or more for the former supplemental first-round pick.

UNBUCKLING THE BELT: In 95 games combined between Advanced-A San Jose and Double-A Richmond, first baseman Brandon Belt leads all of minor league baseball in batting average (.381) and on-base percentage (.480) and is third in slugging percentage (.643) and is fifth in hits (129)...The 22-year-old has reached base safely in each of his last 17 games.

DOUBLETREE DOWNTOWN DOUBLE PLAYS: The Richmond Flying Squirrels have turned 127 double plays in 100 games including six on 5/7 in Harrisburg...The Flying Squirrels have not gone more than three games without a double play this season...The club leads the Eastern League in double plays turned.

CFS STAT OF THE NIGHT: Right-hander Michael Main walked a career-high six batter in last night's loss at Bowie...It was the most walks issued by a Flying Squirrels pitcher this season...Richmond has not scored a run in 13 1/3 innings with Main on the mound and the club has been shutout in three of his four starts.
