Rays Trade Busniuk to Columbia

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that center Bryson Busniuk has been traded to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL in return for an undisclosed amount of cash.

Busniuk, 6'2" and 190-pounds, is currently in his fourth year playing professional hockey. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native has played a total of six games with the Stingrays this season, and has two assists for two points with 11 penalty minutes.

This is Busniuk's second stint with the Inferno. He played 54 games with Columbia during the 2004-2005 season, scoring a total of 25 points (13g, 12a).
