Rays Battle Inferno Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and the Columbia Inferno play tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum at 7:05 p.m. The Stingrays are 3-0-0 against the Inferno this season, winning all the games by only one goal.

The Rays are coming off a loss at home last night to the Charlotte Checkers 4-3. They are 7-4-0-1 for the season for 15 points, three points behind division-leading Florida Everblades.

The Inferno are 3-6-1-3 for the year for 10 points and 7th in the South Division. The team is on a four-game losing streak including their loss last night to Gwinnett.

Tonight is Dunkin' Donuts Million Dollar Chuck-a-Puck! Purchase your chuck-a-pucks early; the person whose puck lands closest to the bullseye will get the chance to go on the ice after the game to shoot a puck for a million pucks.

Doors open for season ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m. for the general public. Join Voice of the Rays Mike Kelly tonight on the air. The game will be broadcast on The Real 1340AM beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the Benito's Pregame Show.
