Rays Battle the Lynx Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays play the Augusta Lynx for the third time in five days tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Season ticket holders may enter the building at 5:30 p.m. and the doors open for the general public at 6 p.m.

The Stingrays are 2-1 against the Lynx this season. When the teams last met on Sunday, Augusta defeated South Carolina 2-1 behind 27 saves from goaltender Dave McKee and goals from Ryan Lang and Jamie Johnson. South Carolina's goal was scored by Jarrett Konkle for his third of the season with assists from Bryson Busniuk and Daren Machesney.

Tonight is Firehouse Bar and Grill Night with 2 for 1 hotdogs and $2 beers. Purchase a ticket anywhere in the Coliseum for only $10.

Don't forget this Saturday, November 18, is the Dunkin' Donuts Million Dollar Chuck-a-Puck! The fans whose puck lands closest to the bullseye during the Dunkin' Donuts Chuck-a-Puck will get the chance to go down to the ice after the game to shoot the puck for a million bucks.
