Rattlers Start 4-game series with Beloit on Saturday

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will welcome the Beloit Snappers to Time Warner Cable Field for a four game series that begins on Saturday night. The Rattlers and their in-state rivals will have plenty going on around them over the four days of the series.

Below are some quick bullet points regarding special events for the games in this series:

Saturday, August 15 @ 6:35pm: Tribute to Elvis and Jeff Suppan rehab start. Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jeff Suppan is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Timber Rattlers in this game. Plus, the Timber Rattlers have a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Look out for an appearance by Elvis himself. Enjoy live, Elvis-infused music pre-game by local Kaukauna Band, "1st Degree," starting at 5pm. There is also a scheduled post-game fireworks display courtesy of FOX 11.

Sunday, August 16 @ 1:05pm: Brewers Sunday with 107.5 THE FAN. As part of Brewers Sunday, former Milwaukee Brewers Pitcher Jerry Augustine will be on hand to toss out a ceremonial first pitch before the game. He will also sign autographs for fans during the first three innings. Timber Rattlers players will be wearing Brewers themed caps and jerseys. Fans may play catch on the field before the game. There is also a post-game autograph session for fans to meet the Timber Rattlers players.

Monday, August 17 @ 7:05pm; Trey Watten Player Poster Giveaway. The first 1,000 fans into the stadium will receive a poster of Timber Rattlers pitcher Trey Watten from Express Convenience Centers. It is also a Qdoba Q'Monday with 99.5 THE WOLF. Buy a lunch entrée at Qdoba's Fox River Mall location on Monday and receive a free ticket to Monday's game.

Tuesday, August 18 @ 7:05pm; WAPL Bang for Your Buck Night. This is the final Tuesday Night home game of the season. It features soda, beer, and hotdogs for $1.

The Rattlers will be off on Wednesday before starting a four-game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Time Warner Cable Field on Thursday, August 20.

There are 11 home games remaining in the 2009 season as the Timber Rattlers make a final push for a franchise single season attendance record.
