Rattlers Offer Fans a Football Fix
February 8, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Arizona Rattlers News Release
Though Super Bowl XLI is now in the past, gridiron action is far from gone as football's next season kicks off today with the start of the Arizona Rattlers 2007 training camp. Fans needing their football fix need wait no longer as Rattlers practices are open to the public as well as media. All sessions - except the team's Media Day on Feb. 15 - will be held at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Competition for the Rattlers' regular season roster will be fierce as the team's training camp lineup features players from the nation's top colleges, last year's Rattlers playoff squad and teams in the AFL, CFL, NFL Europe and NFL experience.
"We've got some new guys I'm excited about in conjunction with the guys we have coming back," said Defensive Coordinator Michael Church. "You're always excited about a new year because it's another chance to win an ArenaBowl championship."
