Rangers Anything But a Walk in the Park for Niagara
February 5, 2016 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release
The IceDogs hit the road to face the Kitchener Rangers for Friday night hockey on Sporstnet. Niagara was a bit slow out of the gate as Kitchener scored the games first goal less than five minutes into the frame. Aaron Haydon eventually tied the game up on a goal from IceDogs captain Anthony DiFruscia and Johnny Corneil. The Rangers would refuse to be outdone though, as their continuous pressure led to two more goals in the period.
Kitchener added to their two goal lead in the second frame after spending most of the period in the IceDogs zone.
The final score of the game was 4-1 for the Rangers.
The IceDogs will be looking to regroup as they return home Saturday night to face off against division rival North Bay Battalion at 7:00pm. Tickets are still available in limited quantity and can be purchased at all IceDogs ticketing locations.
