San Antonio Rampage News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Nov. 9 @ Oklahoma City Barons
Cox Convention Center, 7:05 p.m.
The Rampage will face the West Division's top seed as they travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Barons. The Rampage experienced a 4-1 victory in their previous meeting with the Barons this season.
Thursday, Nov. 11 & Friday, Nov. 12 vs. Rockford IceHogs
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage compete against the Rockford IceHogs for the first time this season in back-to-back games. Rockford currently resides in eighth place of the West Division with a 5-6-0-1 record for 11 points.
Sunday, Nov. 14 vs. Chicago Wolves
AT&T Center, 3:00 p.m.
The Rampage will host the Chicago Wolves on Saturday afternoon for the second time this season. San Antonio defeated Chicago 6-3 in their season opener.
VETERAN'S DAY: All active and retired military service members can show their military ID at the box office and get a $5 ticket for any price level, including glass seats, for this Thursday's game.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT WEEKDAYS: This Thursday fans can get the All-You-Can-Eat package for only $20 and includes a game ticket and bottomless popcorn, soda, nachos, peanuts and hot dogs.
KISS ROCKS $1 DRINK NIGHT: Every Friday fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda.
BETWEEN THE PIPES: Matt Climie currently ranks in the top 10 among netminders across the league in many categories including tied for second in the league with six wins. He also ranks ninth in the league with a goals against average of 2.21 and his .934 save percentage is the third-highest in the AHL, while his 285 saves put him in fifth place for most saves so far this season.
OFFENSIVE DEFENSEMAN: Garrett Stafford's 11 points (3g-8a=11) tie him for second place in the league among defensemen.
SUITING UP: Brett MacLean has tied former Rampage forward Ryan Jardine in fifth place for the most games played in a Rampage sweater at 163.
HOT SHOT: Brett MacLean ranks third in the league for most shots taken with 59 at- tempts.
ICE CHIPS: Mikkel Boedker- LW
Mikkel Boedker had a three-point night in the Rampage's 5-1 win over the Abbotsford Heat on Friday, recording three assists in the team's victory.
Boedker is second in scoring on the team with 12 points including two goals and 10 assists. He leads San Antonio for most assists so far this year.
Last season, Boedker appeared in 64 Rampage games posting 11 goals and 27 assists for 38 points. He was also called up to San Antonio's NHL parent club, the Phoenix Coyotes, several times where he skated in 14 contests adding one goal and two assists for three points. He was selected by the Coyotes in the first round (8th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
