
Drazenovic Reassigned to Peoria

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager, Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned forward Nick Drazenovic (drah-ZEHN-oh-vihk) to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Drazenovic, 23, did not appear in a game for the Blues. He has played in 12 games for the Rivermen this season, ranking first on the team with six goals and is tied for third with nine points (six goals, three assists). Last season, the 6-0, 200-pound forward played in 58 games for Peoria, collecting 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists) along with 40 penalty minutes. Drazenovic tied for first on the Rivermen with a career-high 19 goals last season.
The Prince George, British Columbia native was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round, 171st overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
