
One More In Charlotte, Toronto In Town Friday

The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club will take on the Charlotte Checkers Tuesday night in the second game of a two-game series. Faceoff Tuesday night is at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena in the second-ever meeting between the two teams.
HERSHEY will return home to face Toronto on Friday night at Giant Center. Faceoff is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Giant Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911. The BEARS then travel to Syracuse on Saturday night to face the Crunch at the War Memorial at OnCenter.
Edged in the Queen City: Kyle Greentree scored a pair of third period power play goals, but the Charlotte Checkers edged the BEARS 4-2 Sunday afternoon at Time Warner Cable Arena.. It was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
Aucoin banged up: Center Keith Aucoin left Sunday's game in Charlotte late in the second period with a lower body injury. His status is listed as day-to-day as the BEARS head into Tuesday's game in Charlotte. Defenseman Lawrence Nycholat missed the game Sunday with an upper body injury. He is also listed as day-to-day.
Roster moves: The Capitals assigned center Marcus Johansson on Saturday to HERSHEY. Johansson, 20, comes to the BEARS after scoring a goal in six games played for Washington this season.
Practice schedule: HERSHEY will skate Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Giant Center, the team's only practice day this week before three games in three nights starting Friday with the Toronto Marlies.
Holtby in the win column: Goaltender Braden Holtby, currently on recall to the Washington Capitals, won his first NHL game this past Thursday. Holtby came on in relief of Michal Neuvirth in the third period against the Boston Bruins and stopped all four shots he faced to pick up a 4-3 win at Verizon Center. It was also Holtby's first NHL appearance. For HERSHEY this season, Holtby has a 4-0-1 record and a 1.97 goals against average. He also made his first NHL start on Sunday against Philadelphia.
Upcoming promotions: Friday, November 12 is Hatfield Dollar Dog Night when the Toronto Marlies come to Giant Center. Hot dogs will be available for a dollar at select concession stands.
