Senators Re-Assign Forward Zack Smith to Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2010) - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned forward Zack Smith to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .

Smith, 22, has scored twice and added 14 penalty minutes in 10 games with the Senators this season. In 26 career regular-season National Hockey League games, Smith has recorded four goals, one assist and 28 penalty minutes.

In two previous assignments with Binghamton this season, Smith played in two games, recording no points or penalty minutes.

The B-Sens' (6-4-1-1, 14 points) next game is Wednesday, Nov. 10, when they host the Rochester Americans.
