SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09

FILL UP THE CUP: The Rampage continue to draw huge crowds to the AT&T Center. Despite the dreary weather this past weekend, San Antonio drew 7,342 on Friday and the third largest crowd in franchise history on Satur- day (10,060) which included over 1,000 dogs for the second annual Pucks & Paws Night.

FINAL TRIP: After San Antonio's midweek back-to-back with Peoria, the Rampage will embark on their final road trip of the season. San Antonio visits Lake Erie on Saturday beginning a set of five games in seven days facing teams from the North Division.

NO REST FOR THE WEARY: After February's rodeo road trip, the Rampage got a break of sorts playing just four games over 21 days. It's time to pay the piper as San Antonio gets a stretch of eight games in 11 days including a five- game road trip. It includes two back-to-backs and a set of three straight games in three different cities.

FEELIN' HOT, HOT, HOT: The Rampage are one of the hottest teams in the AHL going 24-15-2-3 over the last 44 games.

HOME SWEET HOME: The Rampage have won 13 of their last 21 on home ice.

NHL DEBUT: Goaltender Josh Tordjman made his NHL debut Mar. 8 when the Coyotes visited the New York Islanders. He has played two games for Phoenix in goal making 54 saves (0-2-0). Josh got the call-up after Phoenix traded goaltender Mikael Tellqvist to Buffalo Mar. 4.
