Rampage Sign Nick Drazenovic to PTO

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that forward Nick Drazenovic has been signed to a professional tryout contract.

Drazenovic, 28, played 25 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last season, recording eight goals and 11 assists.

A sixth-round pick (171st overall) of the St. Louis Blues in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Drazenovic has played with the Peoria Rivermen, Springfield Falcons and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, tallying 121 goals and 194 assists in 469 career AHL games. The Prince George, BC native has played in 12 NHL contests with the Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Rampage finish out a two-game set with the Iowa Wild tonight at 7 p.m. San Antonio returns home on Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. against the Texas Stars, which will also be the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented by H-E-B.
