
Rampage Sign Jamie Bates to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (January 13, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Jamie Bates to a professional try-out (PTO).
Bates, 25, joins the Rampage from their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers, where he is currently the team's leading scorer with 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 23 games. He has tallied 152 points (55 goals, 97 assists) in 146 career ECHL games
The Toronto, Ontario native has posted two assists in 11 career AHL games split between the Norfolk Admirals and Springfield Falcons. Bates attended Quinnipiac University for four years recording 52 goals and 77 assists in 143 career NCAA games (2004-08).
The Rampage host the Grand Rapids Griffins tonight at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Tonight is an All-You-Can-Eat Weeknight which features bottomless popcorn, soda, peanuts, nachos and hot dogs for $20. For more information call a Rampage representative at 210.444.5554.
