Rampage Sign Defenseman Turner Ottenbreit to Amateur Tryout Contract

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that the club has signed defenseman Turner Ottenbreit to an amateur tryout contract.

Ottenbreit, 20, has spent the last four seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League, recording 108 points (24g/84a) in 274 games. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound defenseman registered a career-high nine goals, 38 assists, and 47 points during the 2017-18 campaign with Seattle. Ottenbreit also collected nine points (3g/6a) in 20 games during the 2016-17 WHL playoffs, helping the Thunderbirds earn their first WHL championship.

The Silver and Black return to the ice to take on the Rockford IceHogs tonight at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
