
Syracuse Crunch Release Craig Wyszomirski from PTO

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have released defenseman Craig Wyszomirski from his professional try-out contract, general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Wyszomirski, 25, appeared in seven contests with the Crunch after signing a PTO with the team on March 16. He has also skated in 60 games with the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL this season recording 15 points (2g, 13a) and a plus-7 rating. Last season, he split time between Manchester, earning 12 points (4g, 8a) in 45 games, and the Ontario Reign, skating in three contests.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Mahwah, New Jersey native has appeared in 112 career ECHL games, all with the Monarchs, tallying 27 points (6g, 21a) and a plus-10 rating. Prior to his professional career, Wyszomirski spent three seasons at Merrimack College from 2013 to 2016, recording five points (2g, 3a) in 74 games, and one season at Providence College, appearing in four contests.
