
Rampage recall Grant McNeill from Texas

SAN ANTONIO â Jan. 13, 2005 â The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has recalled Grant McNeill from the Texas Wildcatters of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate of the Rampage.
The 21-year-old McNeill has played in 12 games with the Rampage this season and has recorded one assist. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound blueliner lead the club with 44 penalty minutes before he was reassigned to Texas on Dec. 13, 2004. McNeill was the Florida Panthers' fifth choice (third round, 68th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
In ten games with Texas, McNeill recorded 30 penalty minutes and 18 shots on goal.
The Rampage (15-19-2-4), who are in the midst of a four-game home stand, host Manitoba tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the SBC Center.
