Ken Gernander Recognized Pre-game Saturday

Members of the Hartford Wolf Pack will recognize the most recent accomplishment of their team captain Ken Gernander on Saturday, January 15 just before the puck is dropped at the Wolf Pack versus Bridgeport game. Gernander became the team's leading scorer in franchise history with an assist on Wednesday night. He now has 344 career points.

WHAT: Presentation to Ken Gernander

WHERE: Hartford Civic Center

BACKGROUND: Ken Gernander has been the only captain in team history and has twice been named the winner of the AHL's Fred T. Hunt Award for sportsmanship, determination and dedication to hockey. He scored his 600th AHL point in February of last year, and is currently in ninth place of the AHL's all-time games played list with 946, the only active player in the top 25.
