Rampage Recall Forward Wade Megan from Cincinnati

SAN ANTONIO (November 18, 2013) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled from loan rookie forward Wade Megan from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Megan, 23, is currently second in the ECHL with a total of nine goals through 11 games this season. His 15 points (nine goals, six assists) also paces the Cyclones. The rookie forward started the season on a seven-game point streak and was named the ECHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 3 after tallying six goals and three assists in three games. Megan signed an amateur tryout contract with the Rampage on March 28 and finished the year with the Silver and Black, tallying one goal in 13 games. Prior to signing in San Antonio, Megan completed his senior year at Boston University (2012-13) where he scored 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 38 games while serving as the captain of the club. The Panthers fifth-round (138th overall) selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft tallied 83 points in 151 career games at Boston University.

The Rampage host their fourth-annual "Cool School Education Day" tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10:30 a.m. against the Oklahoma City Barons at AT&T Center.
