Monarchs Sign Gale

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed right wing A.J. Gale to a professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Gale, 26, has collected 17 points (5-1217) and 12 penalty minutes in 13 games with the Central Hockey League's Denver Cutthroats this season. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Nanaimo, British Columbia, made his American Hockey League debut with the Lake Erie Monsters on February 21, 2013. He was held scoreless in four games with the Monsters last season. Gale led the Cutthroats with 46 goals and 84 points (46-3884) in 64 games during the 2012-13 season.

The Monarchs host the Worcester Sharks at the Verizon Wireless Arena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22.
