Rampage loan Stirling to ECHL's Trenton Titans

SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 31, 2006) - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that they have loaned goaltender Scott Stirling to the Trenton Titans of the ECHL.

The 28-year-old netminder has posted a 1-5-1 record with a 2.85 goals-against average (GAA) and a .916 save percentage (SV%) in seven games with the Rampage since being acquired by the Rochester Americans on Nov. 2, 2005. The Norwood, Mass. native has not dressed in the Rampage's last six games and has not started since Nov. 26 (24 games).

Stirling, who started the season with the Titans, posted a 2-0-1 record with a 2.21 GAA and a .925 SV% in three games before being traded for future considerations.

Stirling became the first ECHL goaltender in league history to win the Goaltender of the Year award twice (2001, 2004) and the second netminder to be named the league's Most Valuable Player (2004).
