
Blackhawks assign Vorobiev to Norfolk

The Blackhawks announced this afternoon that forward Pavel Vorobiev has been assigned to the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL.
Vorobiev appeared in 39 games for the Blackhawks scoring 9 goals, including 2 power play goals, and adding 12 assists for 21 points with 34 penalty minutes.
Vorobiev had a career high 3-point game scoring 2 goals and adding an assist on October 7th in a 6-3 win over San Jose. He had three 2-goal games this season with the others coming on October 9th versus Columbus and December 11th at Atlanta. Vorobiev had also scored on two of three shootout opportunities.
