Michaud joins Bulldogs

The Montreal Canadiens have reassigned goaltender Olivier Michaud from the Long Beach Ice Dogs to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Michaud, 22, has played eight games with Hamilton in 2005-06, posting a record of 2-4-1, with a 3.48 goals-against average, and a 0.890 save percentage. The native of Beloeil, Quebec, appeared in eight games with the Ice Dogs this season, earning a 2-2-1 record, with a 2.76 goals-against average, and a 0.911 save percentage.

The Bulldogs next action will take place on Friday, February 3 when they travel to Portland to face the Pirates. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Hamilton's next home game will take place on Friday, February 11, when the Portland Pirates visit Copps Coliseum (7:00 p.m.). This is the 10th Annual 'TD Canada Trust Smiles on Ice Game' in support of McMaster Children's Hospital, and it can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
