
Canucks Recall Jesse Schultz

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have recalled forward Jesse Schultz.
Schultz, 23, is one of only two Moose players to have appeared in all 49 games this season. In that time, the Strasbourg, SK native is the Moose leader in goals scored with 23 and has added 14 assists for 37 points, which is also tops on the team. He has never appreared in an NHL game. In 121 games with the Moose overall, Schultz has scored 32 goals and 30 assists for 62 points and 78 penalty minutes. In 272 games in the Western Hockey League, Schultz scored 110 goals and 119 assists for 229 points with Tri-City, Prince Albert, and Kelowna.
Schultz was originally signed as a free agent by the Canucks on July 31, 2003.
