Today's Game: The San Antonio Rampage (22-27-2-4; 50 pts.) continue their 12-game road trip against the Rochester Americans tonight... It is the seventh contest (in the road swing) as Rampage vacate the SBC Center due to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo... The Rampage enter tonight sitting tied for fourth in the West Division and tied for ninth in the Western Conference... San Antonio is 10-16-1-2 on the road this season and has won three of their last five games... Currently, the Rampage are 3-3-0-0 on the road trip.

Against Rochester Americans: Tonight's game will be the only time the Rampage visit the Amerks at the Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial this season, and will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two teams... The Rampage lost in a shootout to Rochester, 4-3, on Dec. 4 at the SBC Center... San Antonio is 2-2-0-1 against Rochester all-time... Rochester currently holds the best record in the Western Conference (35-9-3-5) and are 8-0-0-2 in their last ten games.

HEY NOW... YOU'RE AN ALL-STAR: Rampage defenseman Jay Bouwmeester will represent San Antonio and his home country of Canada for the 2004-05 Dodge AHL All-Star game in Manchester, NH on February, 14. Bouwmeester will play for Team Canada and is the fourth Rampage player to be selected, joining defenseman Filip Novak (PlanetUSA, 2003), left wing Eric Beaudoin (Team Canada, 2004) and right wing Dennis Shivdki (PlanetUSA, 2004). Beaudoin was selected but did not play as he was unavailable due to recall to the NHL's Florida Panthers.

ROAD WARRIORS: The Rampage embarked on a 29-day, 12-game, nine-city, 13,500-mile road trip on Jan. 29 in Cincinnati. The trip, necessitated by the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo's use of the SBC Center, is annual journey through the month of February for both the AHL's Rampage and the NBA's Spurs. In the past two February road trips the Rampage went 7-4-1 in 2002-03 and 4-8-0 in 2003-04, while currently sitting 3-3-0-0 this season.

BACKSTOP SCOTT: Goaltender Travis Scott is currently 2nd in the AHL in saves, trailing Ryan Miller (ROC, 1199) while Kari Lehtonen sits close in 3rd (CHI, 1163).
