On Thursday, Ryane Clowe, Marcel Goc and Jason Jaffray combined for 10 points (3g, 7a) in Cleveland's 4-1 win at Edmonton... Rookie Ryan Suter scored the winner in Milwaukee's 2-1 overtime victory in Houston... In Wednesday's action, Rochester saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end in a 4-3 shootout loss at St. John's... Mark Murphy and Tony Voce scored in the final 3:15 to give Philadelphia a 3-1 win over Norfolk... Cory Larose and Tommi Santala scored during a late five-minute power play, lifting Chicago over Utah, 3-2... Dustin Brown recorded two goals for Manchester in a 4-1 win over Worcester.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton brings a four-game winning streak into a home date with Hershey on Friday night... A traffic jam in the East Division has the Penguins tied with Norfolk and Binghamton at 61 points, with Philadelphia at 60 and the Bears at 53 entering the weekend... Michel Ouellet, who will be the Penguins' representative at this weekend's All-Star festivities, is one goal shy of hitting the 30-goal plateau for the second straight season... The Bears have won six of their last eight, but dropped an 8-2 decision at Wilkes-Barre last Friday... Hershey's Mathieu Darche helped Milwaukee sweep the Penguins in the Calder Cup 2004 Final.

Manitoba visits St. John's for two games at Mile One Stadium this weekend holding a five-point lead on the Maple Leafs in the North Division... The teams have split their first four meetings this season, but haven't squared off since the Leafs helped open the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on Nov. 17-19... Newfoundland native Jason King has just two goals in his last 18 games for the Moose, but still has a team-high 23 for the year... Kyle Wellwood has 19 points (7g, 12a) in his last 12 games for St. John's, and has already surpassed his offensive output from 2003-04.

Cincinnati has been hot at home, earning a point in 12 straight at the Gardens (11-0-0-1); now the Mighty Ducks hit the road and try to stay in the thick of the West Division playoff race... Cincy is 1-5-1-0 in its last seven away from home heading into a two-game weekend set in Syracuse... Michael Holmqvist has 13 points in his last 11 games and will represent the Ducks at the 2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic... Former Crunch goalie Frederic Cassivi stopped 58 of 61 shots in Cincinnati's two wins over Syracuse last week.
