SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 9, 2014) - The San Antonio Rampage (6-6-0-0) beat the Oklahoma City Barons (5-3-2-0) 3-1 in front of 3,923 fans at the AT&T Center on Sunday. Bobby Butler scored two goals and Garrett Wilson tallied an assist on all three of San Antonio's goals in the win.

The Rampage scored their fastest goal to start a game yet this season when Garrett Wilson picked the puck off the boards behind the net and centered a pass to Bobby Butler for a goal just 59 seconds into the game. Steven Kampfer scored his team-leading third power play goal of the season to give the Rampage a 2-0 lead at 7:50 of the second stanza. With the first assist on the marker, Shane O'Brien recorded his seventh helper of the season, four of which have come with the man advantage.

Butler gave the Rampage an insurance goal with 2:16 remaining in the game, scoring on an empty net to make it 3-0. Dan Ellis's shutout bid ended with 16.2 left on the clock, as Ryan Hamilton buried a power play goal in the waning seconds to account for the final 3-1 score.

LINEUP NOTES

Rocco Grimaldi, who was reassigned to the Rampage from Florida on Sunday morning, skated on San Antonio's top line with Mark Mancari and Drew Shore. The Silver and Black's first line Friday night - Garrett Wilson, Brett Olson and Bobby Butler - played on the second line and Connor Brickley returned to the lineup, skating on the fourth line with Steven Hodges and Logan Shaw.

Dan Ellis started in net, his first back-to-back starts since March 29 and 31 when he was with Florida.

MVP

Ellis finished with 20 saves on 21 shots, earning the First Star of the Game. With two goals, Butler recorded his first multi-goal game of the year and his third multi-point game. Wilson had a hand in all three of San Antonio's tallies on Sunday with the first assist on each of Butler's goals and the second assist on Kampfer's power-play tally in the second period.
