San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO --- A rowdy crowd of 4,482 witnessed the San Antonio Rampage dominate the Houston Aeros with a 4-1 victory Saturday night at the AT&T Center. Netminder Josh Tordjman's first shutout bid ended at the 17:57 mark of the third period as he stopped 31 of 32 shots to extend his winning streak to four games (4-0-0).

The Rampage started strong as center Joey Tenute's scored a shorthanded goal 9:32 in the opening period for his fifth goal of the season.

Defenseman Travis Roche's shot from the top of the right circle midway in the second period gave the Rampage (4-2-0-2) a 2-1 lead against the Minnesota Wild affiliate.

San Antonio continued to light up the scoreboard in the third with a pair of goals. Center Yanick Lehoux recorded his first goal of the season on the power-play from just behind the goal line and off Houston netminder Barry Brust at 13:37. Nearly four minutes later, center Jon DiSalvatore registered his third goal of the season to give the Rampage a 4-0 cushion.

Ryan Hamilton would score Houston's lone goal 13 seconds after DiSalvatore, who assisted on Tenute's goal, recorded his second point of the evening.

The Rampage will cap their home-and-home series against Houston Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at the Toyota Center.
