SPRINGDALE, AR - Max Rajcic fired six scoreless innings, combining with Leonardo Taveras and Matt Svanson on the Springfield Cardinals' (20-10) first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (14-15) on Friday night at Arvest Ballpark. The Cardinals ensured a winning road trip, improving to 6-3 with two games remaining in Springdale.

L: Tyson Guerrero (0-2)

S: Matt Svanson (4)

Notables:

Rajcic set a new career high with nine strikeouts and moved into a tie for most wins in the Texas League with JT Ginn of Midland.

Leonardo Taveras has not allowed an earned run over 9 appearances (10.2 IP) this season.

The Cardinals' only runs came on a two-run shot by Jacob Buchberger to right field in the 2nd

The Cardinals have scored all 13 of their runs in the series with two outs.
