The Sacramento River Cats (70-45) lost 11-3 to the Tacoma Rainiers (49-66) on Saturday at Raley Field. RHP Erik Hiljus (10-8) took the loss, allowing 3 ER on 6 H in 6.0 IP. LHP Ron Flores made his Triple-A debut with the River Cats, allowing 7 ER on 6 H in 0.2 IP. He allowed all seven runs in Tacoma's seven-run eighth inning. CF Chris Prieto led the Cats' offense with 3 H.
The Cats will play the second game of their four-game series against Tacoma tomorrow (6:05 pm) at Raley Field.
